May Day rally in Berlin, 1931

Before Fascism in Germany in 1933, workers sports groups were among the largest sports clubs. Here, the children's sports group of the Workers Sports Club Fichte Berlin. Fichte Berlin counted 8000 members, and the first club had offshoots throughout Germany. The club was banned in 1933 as a communist organization, and closed on May 2 of the same year
