Two men in the Jungfernheide, 1931
Two men, one sitting, the other standing, look at something they hold in their hands. They both have a stick, one of them is smoking, the other is holding papers in his hand. Further papers are lying on the ground. They are in the Jungfernheide on the way to Saatwinkel, north of the Ploetzensee Canal in the forest. There, so-called monarchs live in old Stubbenloecher (holes of dear tree trunks), who only possess about 3 sqm large soil.. Due to the world economic crisis and mass unemployment, many people lost their homes
