The Moabit penitentiary in Berlin, 1938

The penal institution Berlin-Moabit in Berlin's Mitte district. It was built between 1877 and 1881 as a Royal Remand Prison in the district of Moabit. The Criminal Court Moabit was right next to it. Starting the 1930s, the first crime research center in Prussia was also housed here. Today, the entire building complex is a listed building
