Photo a model of the mortar cannon Dicke Bertha of the Krupp concern from the World War I at the exhibition Die Front ('The Front') in the Zeughaus in Berlin.The 42cm caliber howitzer 12 L / 16 or gamma device was actually planned as a naval gun, but was also used in World War I at the front. The transport of the 150 kilo gun needed 20 railway wagons and there were extra railway tracks placed at the front specially for this purpose
