Model locomotives, 1830
The models are displayed at a model railway exhibition in the Horticultural Hall'. The photo shows two locomotives that were built 20 years before the first Stephenson locomotive. On the left, a model of Richard Trevethick, built between 1803-1808 by W.W. Mason Etham. At right, Matthew Murray's Middleton Colliery locomotive which was built by Mr. Knock. Date created: 01.01.1830-31.12.1830
