Moored balloon Pax with M. Severo before the disaster
This picture shows the lift-off of the balloon Pax with M. Severo in Paris, which would later catch fire and explode above the cemetery of Montparnasse. One of the motors caught on fire and then caused the explosion completely destroying the balloon and killing M. Severo, the brazilian deputy in Paris, and his assistant M. Sachet. Date created: 30.06.1902
