National emblem on the belt buckle, 1936

In the Wehrmacht a new belt buckle was introduced in place of the previous emblems of non-commissioned officers and men. The new belt buckle bears the national markings and in the border the words God is with us and oak leaf tendrils. Date created: 04.02.1936
