National flag change on the Bremen, 1935
On the passenger liner Bremen of Norddeutsche Lloyd the old Reichsflagge is replaced with the new swastika flag on September 17 1935 at 8 o'clock in the port of New York. View of captain Adolf Ahrens and his crew during the hoisting of the flag. Left plays a brass band while the ship's crew shows the Hitler salute. Date created: 17.09.1935
