Navy airship L 70 plummets down in flames, 1918
A watercolor by maritime artist Adolph Bock shows the Navy airship L 70/LZ112 plummeting down in flames. It was shot down during a German air raid on England on 5 August 1918. During its crash the whole crew lost its life, among them Commander Peter Strasser, Leader of Airships. 01.01.1918-31.12.1918
