The picture shows distressed children. By 1932, the number of unemployed rises, who with their families are over six million people, or one-third of the population. The children run barefoot even until the beginning of the winter, footwear is often too luxurious. Sickness and misery are getting worse and worse after the reduction of unemployment benefits
