New lime trees for the boulevard Unter den Linden in Berlin
In 1935, in a section of the street Unter den Linden near the Berlin State Library (left), old lime trees were felled and removed in order to plant new trees. Several workers hold a rope to set the direction of the fall. In the background are the Humboldt University (center) and the equestrian statue of Frederick the Great (right)
