New troop flag for the Luftwaffe, 1936

The troop flag for the newly founded German Luftwaffe with oak wreaths around the iron cross and four swastikas in the corners. Depending on the branch of service the color varied between yellow (flyer), red (antiaircraft) and brown (signal communication troops). The flag was presented to the troops by Hermann Goering personally on the Day of the Luftwaffe in Gatow. Date created: 01.01.1933-31.12.1939
