Adolf Hitler met with diplomats for a New Year's reception at the Palais des Reichsprasidenten (center left) on Wilhelmstrasse in Berlin-Mitte in early January 1937. The photograph shows the cars being driven away close behind each other after the diplomats have disembarked, watched by numerous spectators and members of the Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler. To the left is the Kellner Palace (part of the Foreign Office), to the right of the Reich President's Palace is the Reich Ministry of Food and Agriculture
