The NS-Ordensburg Sonthofen in Allgaeu. View from the castle keep on the south and the east wing of the large building, whose roof is made of prepared wood shingles. Besides Kroessinsee in Pomerania and Vogelsang in the Eifel park, Sonthofen im Allgaeu is one of three Ordensburgs that had been erected as training centers for future command personnel (cadres) of the Nazi Party.
