Old Cell Prison at Molkenmarkt, 1929
The Old Cell Prison at the Molkenmarkt on Lehrter Strasse in Berlin's Mitte district. Friedrich Wilhelm IV initiated the construction of the prison in the 1840s as Preussisches Mustergefaengnis Moabit ('Prussian model prison Moabit'). Here prisoners had for the first time single cells instead of the previous common cells
