Old city hall in Bamberg
The city hall built in the middle of the 14th century was rebuilt by the citizens of Bamberg after a catastrophic fire in 1440. Michael Kuechel redesigned it during the years 1744 to 1756 in Baroque and Rococo styles. The city hall stands exactly on the border between the bishopric and the civil town
