The picture was taken under an arcade of the Gasthaus zum Sunfzen and shows old half-timbered houses in Maximilianstrasse in Lindau. Above the entrance to the house Am alten Markt No. 4 (center of the picture) is written Hermann Rupflin'. To the left of it in the house No. 6 there is a hairdresser. On the far left in house no. 8, the former Swiss grain trading house, the Feinbackerei Ernst H[...] was located on the ground floor. Photo undated, probably taken around 1925
