Old locomotive in Berlin-Charlottenburg, 1936
The replica of the first German train Adler (locomotive and wagons) was pulled through Berlin to the exhibition grounds on Kaiserdamm on July 11, 1936. There it then drew visitors to the Deutschland exhibition through the open-air grounds. In this photo, the Deutsche Reichsbahn truck convoy is driving straight from Budapester Strasse to Hardenbergstrasse, passing the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, watched by spectators at the side of the road.
