The old and the new Giesinger Church in Munich, 1885
The drawing shows on the left the New Giesing Church (front view) and at right the Old Giesing Church (rear view) on the Giesing mountain. The old church was mentioned for the first time in the early 14th century as one of the eight branch churches in the parish of Bogenhausen. The New Church, Holy Cross, is the last completely preserved Neo-Gothic church in Munich and the oldest parish church of Giesing. Date created: 01.01.1885-31.12.1885
