Old Parish Church of St. Margaret in Munich
The north side of the Sendlinger church seen from the Lindwurmstrasse, with the fresco by Wilhelm Lindenschmit the Elder, painted in 1830. The image shows the Farmer's Battle of Sendling 1705 (Sendling Christmas Day Massacre). The church was completely destroyed in this battle, it was rebuilt between 1711-1713 in Upper Bavarian Baroque style. The church is located at the slope side of the Isar terrace on Lindwurmberg (undated picture). Date created: 01.01.1870-31.12.1936
