Opened mass graves in Vinnytsia

Large mass graves were discovered in the Generalbezirk (region) of Shitomir in the city of Vinnytsia at the western entrance to the city. They were dug from 1938 until 1941. It is probable that more than one thousand Ukrainians were murdered here by the GPU (State Political Directorate)
