Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Summer Games on 1 August 1936 in Berlin's Olympic Stadium. According to Olympic tradition the team of the host country marches as last. This image shows the march past of the German Olympic team in front of the lodge of Adolf Hitler, who greets the team with the Hitler salute.
