Opening of the City Parliament in Berlin, 1933

A church service was held in the St. Nikolai-Kirche (St. Nicholas Church) at the opening of the city parliament of Berlin. After the service, the deputies walk towards the Parliament. Bystanders greet the deputies with the Nazi salute. In the first row of the procession: State Commissioner Oskar Maretzky, Lord Mayor Heinrich Sahm and State Commissioner Wilhelm Hafemann
