Opening concert at the Haus des Rundfunks in Berlin, 1931
The new Berlin Funkhaus (today: Haus des Rundfunks) in Berlin-Westend was opened on Thursday, January 22, 1931, in the presence of representatives of the authorities and an invited audience. After the inauguration speech by Reichsrundfunkkommissar Hans Bredow (front row, 3rd from left), the Berlin Radio Orchestra, conducted by chief conductor Bruno Seidler-Winkler, performed in the small concert hall of the Funkhaus
