Opening of the Rowing Olympics in Berlin, 1936

A large Olympic flag was hoisted at the opening of the Rowing Olympics, which took place between August 11 and 14 at the Grunau regatta course near Berlin. Spectators in the stands as well as reporters and police officers showed the Hitler salute. The canoe competitions took place on the same course already from August 7, therefore the picture could have been taken on August 7
