Opening of the State Council with a parade

On September 15, 1933, the Prussian State Council was refounded as a purely advisory body of the National Socialists and met for its first session at the Humboldt University in Berlin. The photograph shows the entry of the Prussian state councillors through the Brandenburg Gate hung with swastika flag, cheered by a crowd of people showing the Hitler salute. In the first car, a Mercedes-Benz W10 (type Mannheim 370) with Berlin license plates, sits the Prussian Minister President Hermann Goering (2nd row left) and SA Chief of Staff Ernst Roehm (right). Behind them is a Mercedes-Benz W22 (type 380) with Stuttgart license plates
