Palestine Conference in London on 07.02.1939 and in Wash
One of the many conferences on Palestine was opened on 7 February 1939 in London's St. James's Palace, with which the British mandatory power tried to smooth the permanent conflict between Arabs and Jews. Among the participants were the Zionist leader Chaim Weizman, President of the World Zionist Organization since 1920, in 1949 he became the first President of Israel (front center) and right next to him, Ben Gurion, later longtime Prime Minister of Israel.
