Der Papstesel zu Rom (The Papacy of Rome) is the title of a satirical leaflet, published in 1523 by Martin Luther and Philipp Melanchthon. Lucas Cranach the Elder made this painting. This caricature is hanging in the Lutherhalle in Wittenberg. In the focus is an upright donkey and in the background are two castles, on the left is a papal flag
