Parade on the Day of German Art in Munich, 1939

A parade is being held in Munich on the Day of German Art. Here on the Wittelsbacherplatz with the statue of Maximilian I in the background. On socles overgrown with boxwood there are four sculptures. The left and the right statue carry huge torches in their hands. The second from right, a female sculpture, carries a scepter with the territorial symbols. Right next to her there is an eagle. Date created: 16.07.1939
