In Rome, on May 26 or 27, 1939, a great parade with tens of thousands of participants from Fascist women's organizations from all regions of Italy took place before Benito Mussolini. The picture shows a women's equestrian section from Littoria (now Latina). The young women are probably members of the Giovani fasciste, a sub-group of the Opera Nazionale Balilla
