Parade for Prince Paul of Yugoslavia, 1939
Parade on the occasion of the visit of Prince Paul of Yugoslavia on 02.06.1939 along the East-West Axis in Berlin (today: Unter den Linden - Strasse des 17. Juni - Ernst-Reuter-Platz - Bismarckstrasse). At that time Prince Paul was Regent of Yugoslavia, as King Peter II was a minor. On the invitation of Hitler he spent nine days in Berlin. This is the last parade, held before the outbreak of the Second World War. The picture shows a marching hauled artillery. The horses pull carriages with guns of the type 10, 5cm leichte Feldhaubitze 18 L/28. Date created: 02.06.1939
