Parade of Scherl employees on May 1, 1939

The employees of the Scherl publishing house march to the Feststrasse during the May Day celebrations in Berlin in 1939. The plant managers are at the head of the marching column of employees, framed by black uniformed employees and brown uniformed Nazi functionaries. On the right you can see signs of the Deutsche Spielwarenzeitung and the Berliner Marmor-Werk'. Date created: 01.05.1939
