Parade for visit of the Hitler Youth in the Stadio dei Marmi
In September 1936, 450 Hitler Youth traveled to Italy. On September 22, they visited the Foro Mussolini (now Foro Italico) in Rome. In the Marble Stadium, they watched a parade of Italian Young Fascists from the Opera Nazionale Balilla, who proudly displayed their practiced lockstep. The Balilla boys shouldered rifles and carried daggers and cartridge bags on their belt
