Parliament in Vienna, 1938
On a flagpole in front of the parliament building in Vienna a swastika flag is hanging shortly after Austria's annexation to the German Reich. The parliament building in Vienna was built in the years 1874 until 1883 according to designs by the Danish architect Theophil von Hansen. In front of the building stands a four meter high statue of Pallas Athena by Carl Kundmann (1904) in the fountain already designed by Hansen
