Paul Ehrlich
Paul Ehrlich (1854-1915), German physician, professor in Berlin (from 1890), Goettingen (from 1904) and Frankfurt (from 1914). From 1899 he directed the Institute of Experimental Therapy in Frankfurt. He is considered one of the fathers of chemotherapy. In 1908 he received together with I. Mechnikov the Nobel Prize for Medicine
