Representatives of the Ukrainian People's Republic, that was recognized by the Central Powers, signed the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk (German: Brotfrieden, peace for bread') with the Central Powers in Brest-Litovsk in February 1918. Here, the Ukrainian delegation during the sealing of the peace protocol.
