Peace agreement between Ukraine and Germany, 1918

Representatives of the Ukrainian People's Republic, that was recognized by the Central Powers, signed the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk (German: Brotfrieden, peace for bread') with the Central Powers in Brest-Litovsk in February 1918. Here is a Ukrainian delegation at the negotiations in Berlin, sitting from left: lecturer counselor v. Wromlay, the head of the Commission Hollcynskyi and General Pelkewitsch.
