Plundering of the USSR in WWII

The photo above shows a threshing machine in the occupied Soviet Union, with which the Russian population had to thresh grain under the supervision of German soldiers. The grain was then promptly brought to the mills, in order to make flour and then baked into bread at military field bakeries. On the lower image, freshly baked bread is distributed to soldiers of the armed forces on the Eastern front. The original text: From the land to the stomachs of our soldiers
