Seamen who go to sea before election day may cast their vote for the Reichstag election and referendum on the annexation of Austria in a polling station in Hamburg. At the front door hang several election posters: The German sailor votes with Yes, One nation, one empire, one leader, April 10 and a portrait of Adolf Hitler with the subtext Loyalty to the Fuehrer'.
