Harris (1892-1984) aka Bomber Harris, was Air Officer Commander-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of RAF Bomber Command and later a Marshal of the Royal Air Force during the latter half of World War II, responsible for the bombing of Dresden in Febraury 1945 which killed ca 30 000 civilans
