The Prague Powder Tower, 1929
The Prague Powder Tower (Czech: Praaena brana, literally Powder Gate') served representative purposes from the beginnings. The cornerstone was put in place by the builder Matthias Rejsek under the rule of King Vladislav Jagellonsky ll. The tower was initially constructed in the late Gothic style and it marked the beginning of the so called Royal Path'. It got its final shape in neo-Gothic style only in the 19th century
