Presentation of parachute jumps on the Bueckeberg, 1936

On the occasion of the harvest festival 1936 on the Bueckeberg members of the Luftwaffe perform a few parachute jumps. This festival was called Reichserntedankfest and was celebrated between 1933-1937. The ceremony took place on the first Sunday of October on the Reichsthingplatz. Starting 1935 here were held large Wehrmacht maneuvers of almost all armed service branches. Since the paratroopers were formed on 29.01.1936, this was the first time they were present at the maneuver on the Bueckeberg. The picture shows a mass jump from low altitude
