Presentation of the Vitaphone, 1929

A new sound film camera called Vitaphone was presented in a theater of the Warner brothers in New York. The coupling of a phonograph and a projector makes it possible that music and voice are played simultaneously with the filmstrip. The Warner brothers used this technique in almost 2, 000 short films
