Prince Oskar of Prussia with his wife Countess Ina Marie von Ruppin, born Countess von Bassewitz, and their first son Oskar. The marriage was considered by the imperial family as morganatic, the wife of Prince Oscar and their children bore the title of countess or count of Ruppin and were excluded from the Prussian succession
