Prison Plotzensee

The Prison Plotzensee was built between 1868 and 1879. During National Socialism, this prison also served as execution place of those sentenced to death by the Berlin Court of Appeals and the People's Court. Today, at the prison site is the Ploetzensee Memorial, which commemorates the victims of National Socialism
