In front of the Karl-Liebknechthaus at Buelowplatz in Berlin, seat of the editorial office of the Die Rote Fahne, heavy street battles took place on May Day with the Berlin police, who opened fire on the demonstrators. On the facade stands 1st of May the street demonstrates freely for the dictatorship of the proletariat
