Puffing Billy one of the first locomotives
Puffing Billy, one of the first locomotives (replica after the original in the Science Museum London.) It was built in 1813 by W. Hedley and was used for the transport of coal trains in Wylam, near Newcastle-on-Tyne. The photo was taken at a presentation in the courtyard of the Deutsches Museum in 1923
