Rally of Italian students in Rome for the war, 1941
In February 1941, a few months after Italy entered the war alongside the allied Nazi Germany, the fascist students of the University of Rome held a large rally. This was attended by students who had signed up as war volunteers. Flags of the Axis powers were carried ahead of the procession. In the background, one can see a branch of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena bank
