Reconstruction of the new Avus north curve in Berlin, 1936
Construction workers are busy rebuilding the Avus north curve, which was changed to a steep curve to allow higher curve speeds. This photo from 1936 already shows the later shape of the curve. Wooden scaffolding is used to set the correct slope. An excavator and a trolley track facilitate the earth movements
