Recovery of the remains of the expedition team of Salomon An

The Swedish engineer and Arctic explorer Salomon August Andree (1854-1897) and his team attempted to cross the North Pole from Spitsbergen in their balloon Eagle'. They started on 11. July 1897. The participants of the expedition were missing, however, until one found remains northeast of Spitsbergen, including diaries and photographs in 1930. In the picture are parts thereof brought on board the Braavaag, among the remains of the carriage, with which the three pioneers dragged their rowing boat across the ice
